TIS Apprentice wins coveted Regional Award

We are proud to announce that one of our apprentices, James Starbuck, is the regional winner of the Trainee, Apprentice and Graduate Awards from Keepmoat for 2016. This new award recognises the achievements of outstanding apprentices and the businesses that employ them.

James, who is lives in Gedling, Nottinghamshire, works in the Service Division, and joined TIS in May 2012.  The awards are to recognise the work and achievements of the top apprenticeship employers and apprentices across England and to demonstrate how apprenticeships have made a real difference to their organisation and career prospects.  James Said “I am so proud to have my achievements recognised, I Love my job and the opportunities the apprenticeship provides.  I’ve been fortunate in that I have a fantastic employer in TIS who believes in me and provides such fantastic learning opportunities for me, I’d like to thank Keepmoat for their support to as well as my trainers, mentors and colleagues”.

James’s Manager Nick Cook added “James is a perfect example of why apprenticeships are so important to our industry.  TIS are dedicated and passionate about providing real opportunities and seeing James shine has been fantastic.  It’s a privilege to be able to help shape and harvest the very best young talent and build skills and confidence to help them with their future careers”.
