TIS Provide Sweet Solution for Thorntons PLC

We are delighted to have successfully come to the aid of prestigious chocolatier Thorntons PLC at their Head office in Derbyshire.

The iconic chocolatiers had an ongoing problem with their Milestone CCTV system and were unable to get anyone competent to resolve the issues, until we attended site.

After having additional cameras added, Thorntons were unable to view any of the new images on their system. With other companies failing to find a solution, our expert knowledge was called upon and on our first site visit managed to discover the problem. We then went on to rectify the issue, providing Thorntons with the solution that they required.

Our Senior Technical Engineer, Nick Kempson went to review the site, with his enviable skill set and vast amount of experience he was quickly able to both determine and solve the problems being experienced and make the system fully operational. Further recommendations were then put forward to improve the stability of the system and prevent further failures.

Nick said “As a Senior Technical Engineer at TIS, I find great satisfaction attending sites with ongoing faults.  Especially when others have not been able to get to the root cause of the problem.  It’s been an absolute pleasure to work for such a renowned household name and it’s been great working with their team and rectifying the problem for them.  We are delighted to have been able to help and look forward to working with Thorntons again in the near future.

Daniel Crow, Facilities Manager from Thorntons PLC said “We have had a few technical problems with the CCTV system and had struggled to find a solution – until we called TIS.  Nick was able to find the source of the ongoing problem on his first visit and fix it on his second.  It was the first time we had worked with TIS and we were impressed with the level of expertise and at just how quickly they sourced the problem that several other suppliers could not solve.  Daniel added “We will definitely be working with TIS again and we look forward to continuing to build on our relationship with them”.
