The Face of Fond Fairwell

Emotions run high today as we bid farewell to our colleague and friend Clive Pearce, taking his retirement after 21 Years service at TIS.

Clive first started working for the company as a consultant which quickly expanded to working with us 5 days a week. Eventually, on the  5th June 1995 Clive was offered a full time position as Customer Services Manager.  Progressing into other areas, this lead onto the positions of Service and Maintenance Manager and then Business Development Manager.

From that point, Clive started to play a large part in procuring our KFC and Burger King Contracts. As they were established and developed by our maintenance team, he concentrated his efforts on custodial customers and therefore moved away from our fast food clients.

In 1999, Clive successfully secured contracts with Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire Police Forces encompassing over 100 Police Stations, 15 Custody Suites and specialists Interview Suites.

Due to his special knowledge, experience and Home Office Regulations understanding, he has regularly attended planning and development meetings at the highest level. Promoting TIS to the very best of his ability and offering outstanding care packages he managed to maintain these contracts for over 10 years.

As a true professional, we celebrate his outstanding contribution and lasting legacy brought to TIS.  Nothing more fitting than a ‘Clone of Clive’.

Clive comments, “Working for TIS has been a brilliant journey, a top class employer who puts high importance on people and who really care. I’m certain the company will go on from strength to strength as they continue to move forward as one of the largest employers within the area. I now take my retirement and many happy memories of my 21 years with TIS and thank the Directors, staff and abundance of friends for their friendship and kindness. Best wishes to all.”

From us all at TIS, we wish you the very best on your retirement Clive!
