On Friday 30th June our seven strong team will be taking on the challenge of cycling 110 miles from our head office in Mansfield to Bridlington on the East Coast. On Saturday 1st July they will be returning on the same route, completing another 110 miles. Both days they will be climbing nearly 4,000 feet too. It’s a daunting task and one the cyclists are going to fund themselves to maximise the return for our chosen Charity Partner, The British Heart Foundation.
The team, which consists of James Twigg, Mark Wilson, Alistair Murray, Richard Amatt, Nick Kempson, Simon Morris and Paul Lawrence would like to raise £3,000 for the British Heart Foundation as part of our commitment to raise £12,000 for them this year.
Of course the challenge is not just the actual event but the hours and hours of training they will all have to put in to be fit and capable of a challenge as enduring as this, so all are committing serious hours to training in order to raise much needed funds to help save lives in conjunction with the BHF.
