TIS, one of Nottingham’s leading fire, security and communications specialists have earned the contract to install new systems at Ashton Green bakery in Leicester.
The systems, including a Public Address system and Automated Clock system have been installed at the new factory that was built at the end of September. The new factory, which is owned by the Samworth Brothers, supplies sandwiches to large organisations such as Tesco and Ginsters.
This is the second Samworth Brothers’ bakery that TIS have provided installations for. Around ten years ago TIS installed a similar Public Address and Automated Clock systems at Bradgate Bakery in Leicester.
Daniel Cook, North Regional Account Manager at TIS, said: “It is fantastic news that TIS has secured this contract on the back of the recommendation from the Bradgate bakery. It is evidence of the excellent work that we do as the project was completed quickly and efficiently for a company that is a client of such a big organisation like Tesco.â€
The Automated Clock system will set the time throughout the factory and will keep track of employees ‘clocking in and out’ times. The Automated Clock system also ensures the sandwiches are created and dispatched on set deadlines, which is vital for Tesco.
After a successful partnership between TIS and the Samworth Brothers, there are plans to continue the relationship through to April 2015 next year when the newly built Ashton Green factory is planning to expand the factory and want TIS to install the systems throughout the rest of the building.
Mr Cook, added: “The expansion is great news for both parties and it means we can continue our excellent relationship with the bakeries. We will be installing similar systems throughout the factory’s expansion. The fact that TIS has not only been chosen to install these systems but to also to run maintenance on them is credit to our excellent staff.â€
