Job Details:

Remove existing faulty operator and supply and fit a push operator with 2no new safety senors and 1no new activation sensors and commission to BSEN16005.

The Challenge/Brief:

Hilton Grange is an assisted living facility for the elderly, owned and operated by Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing Association.  Recently the Rear Entrance Door used by residents and staff on a daily basis became faulty.

Without this door being in operation it caused onsite issues and the client required a solution in order to bring this back into operation quickly.  Works needed to be carried out without disruption to site as there are a number of vulnerable elderly adults in situ.  This means that the security and correct operation of this door is paramount.  Our engineer also identified that the automatic door operator onsite did not meet current regulations and required a replacement operator and a safety upgrade to comply with the latest regulations BSEN16005.  This was carried out by us and we left the client happy with a fully operational door.
