The Challenge/Brief:

The University of Manchester is a public research university in Manchester, England, formed in 2004 by the merger of the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology and the Victoria University of Manchester. Some notable alumni including Benedict Cumberbatch, Rik Mayall, Ade Edmondson and Ben Elton to name a few!

TIS have installed a Simons Voss Access Control System to the University’s Schuster Building which houses the school of Physics and Astronomy, the building houses four large lecture rooms around the foyer on the ground floor,  named after people who taught or carried out research in the department: Rutherford, Bragg, Blackett and Moseley.

Simons Voss Access Control Systems are a high quality access control system and remove the possibility of codes being seen or heard by unauthorised persons, making it the ideal solution for such an in demand University where the students and faculty number the thousands.
