‘TIS the season..

Based at Nottingham Children’s Hospital, The Parents’ Association for Seriously Ill Children (PASIC) do an amazing job providing support to Children and Young People living with Cancer, their family and carers. Offering, emotional, financial and social support, PASIC aim to make a positive difference to the lives of Children and Young People who are receiving treatment for Leukaemia, Brain Tumours and other associated Cancers at Nottingham’s University Hospital. They provide the means to build support networks, reduce isolation, increase wellbeing and offer financial assistance when parents are experiencing difficulties.

TIS were delighted to kick start our fundraising for our new chosen charity partner with a Christmas Themed Charity Day, raising a brilliant £248!

One of the co-ordinators for the day, Sharon Garton (HR Manager) said ” I am thrilled with the enthusiasm from all of the Staff throughout the day. The spirit of Christmas filled the office and we are all looking forward to the next event in 2015. TIS encourage anyone to get involved with PASIC and make a difference”.
